Nashoba Valley Winery

by Anonymous
(Massachusetts)

As a lifelong resident of Massachusetts, I was surprised to find a hidden jewel in my back yard. This jewel is called Nashoba Valley Winery. I was taken to this winery back in 2003 by my neighbor. She had told me stories of the rustic charm of the winery and their wonderful selection of wines. We went to the winery on a Saturday morning and had a wonderful tour of the grounds and the wine making proccess. The guide was very informative! I really loved that this is a family owned winery. It has such a welcoming feel to it! Oh, they not only have a huge selection of wines, but they also brew beer!! So, there is a little bit for everyone! We sampled their dry pear wine, blueberry merlot and their after dinner peach wine. I loved every one and came home with a bottle of each. If you go to the Nashoba Valley Winery, be sure to visit the gift shop before leaving! It is such a beautiful shop. They carry everything from hand decorated glasses, wine openers and you can even buy a gift certificate! It's a phenominal place!
