White Wine

Below you will find a list of some popular white wines with brief description for each. You can get an idea of how they can vary from region to region. Chardonnay is probably one of the most popular and I believe became a star in the early eighties. It' the boldest of the whites and is still one of the highest white wines sold in the U.S. Risling is the first of the whites that I started drinking and still enjoy a glass now and then. Pinot Grigio or Pinot Gris very light and fruity. Viognier; If I can find a bottle I'll defiantly have to try it. Gewürztraminer;I call this one a summer wine just for it's sweetness.
