What Are Tannins





Tannins are mentioned in almost every wine review, so it's important to know how they can control a wines structure.

These natural organic compounds are found in grape skins, grape seeds, and fruits such as pomegranates (seeds) and persimmons.
Are found in oak wine barrels.
Their bitterness is equal to drinking tea or chewing on a grape seed.
